Enchanted by Jo is a curated food marketplace that delivers artisan goods from small California makers to homes across San Francisco. Ordering is open every day, and customers choose home delivery or free pickup at a local park.
Our menu is curated, not an endless catalog. Everything on it comes from a small California producer, and we build the schedule around freshness: items are ordered from the maker after you order them, rather than sitting in a warehouse.
Which vendors does Enchanted by Jo carry?
Our makers include Rize Up Bakery, Acme Bread Company, Cowgirl Creamery, and Bayview Pasta, alongside other small California producers. The selection is seasonal and changes as makers come in and out of production.
How fresh is the food?
We schedule deliveries around each maker's production, not around our own convenience. Rize Up Bakery bakes its sourdough to order. Bayview Pasta hand-mills its flour and makes pasta to order, so we typically deliver it on Tuesdays, shortly after it comes out of the kitchen. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for an order.
How soon will my order arrive?
Delivery timing depends on the item. Some items are available as soon as the next day. Others take up to four business days, because they are made to order rather than pulled from stock. Bayview Pasta, for example, is hand-milled and made to order. Each item's availability is shown when you order.
Where does Enchanted by Jo deliver, and what does it cost?
We deliver throughout San Francisco. Delivery is free on orders over $49.99. Orders under $49.99 have a $4.99 delivery fee. There are no shipping fees and no waiting for a package.
Can I pick up my order instead of paying for delivery?
Yes. You can choose free pickup at a local park instead of home delivery. Pickup is free on every order with no minimum, so it is the better option if your order is under $49.99. Pickup locations include Esprit Park, Alamo Square, and Lafayette Park. You will get a text with your pickup window.
