Nuchas Empanadas
Argentine empanadas from a San Francisco family, delivered to your door or ready for pickup.
About Nuchas
In the early 1900s, Nilda Bottazzi's family left Parma, Italy, for Argentina, bringing their Italian cooking with them and discovering the flavors of South America. Nilda, nicknamed “Nucha”, grew up making Argentine empanadas, baked the traditional way with simple fillings, and they were the hit of every party.
After years of nudging from friends, the family began sharing their empanadas with the Bay Area. Nucha passed away peacefully in 2021, aged 92, at home in San Francisco. The business passed to her son Ruben, and now to her great-niece Vanessa, who carries the family's traditions forward.
